The Ice Dream Cafe all the way at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is only selling this special edition flavour for a while. And already, the RM8 per scoop ice cream it’s about to sell out.

Although it’s been a staple in many local households for generations, this isn’t the only time Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa became a hot selling item.

In February 2018 for example, the Wall Street Journal reported a crazy spike in sales of the traditional cough syrup, where prices doubled and even tripled during New York flu season retailing for as much as USD $ 70 (yikes).
